Children
Kingdom Kids, our ministry for children
- What?
Kingdom Kids is a ministry for children, to help them understand issues concerning God, the Bible, salvation and principles for Christian living.
- Who?
Kingdom Kids is split into two groups on Sunday mornings: Little Lambs for ages 0 to 3, and The Next Generation for ages 4 to 11.
- When?
Every Sunday morning, 10:30am to 12pm.
- Where?
A crèche is provided at every service for children aged 0 to 3 only. Older children sit with their parent or guardian for the evening services, so please bring a quiet activity such as colouring pencils and a book.
- How?
We teach biblical principles through reading, and by relating fun craft activities and songs to the Bible. Each month children are given a memory verse from the Bible related to the theme of the month. Parents are encouraged to reinforce this learning at home.
- Why?
The Bible says in Proverbs 22:6, “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.” Following 2 Timothy 3:14–15, we dedicate our children to God through His word.
Keeping children safe
Everyone who works with our children and young people is safely recruited, supervised and trained. Our designated child protection co-ordinator is Mr Chris Sealey.
